Like many Phoenicians, I've passed by this "wedding cake-looking" structure many, many times since I moved here, and always wondered what it was. What was a castle doing sitting off the highway in the middle of Phoenix, AZ? About a year ago, thanks to a team of very dedicated volunteers, the Tovrea Castle and it's history was opened to the public.
